This is especially true for those firms seeking to provide “Full Service” support to their international client base. Mr. Watson also served two years as Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association’s International Law Section. One of Mr. Watson’s proudest achievements of his tenure was to begin the Foreign Lawyer’s Committee which provides an independent forum for foreign lawyers who are admitted to practice in a foreign jurisdiction.

Prior to the dramatic events in Poland that broke open the Communist hold on that country, Mr. Watson won the first Polish Asylum case ever approved in the Boston office. Also, Mr. Watson challenged the Department of Labor on the right of an employer to use experience previously gained while working for the petitioner.
